Two little pranksters

I think that April Fools Day is Nicole's favorite holiday. For several years now she has planned for this special day by searching the internet for ways to "fool" her family and friends. This year she included Sarah in her scheming! We never know what to expect so we are all a little on guard throughout the day. This year we woke up to VERY blue milk. I know that food coloring doesn't change the flavor but I still had to close my eyes to drink it, and Isaac refused to even get near it! They changed all the cereal bags into different boxes so when I thought I was pouring Cheerios I really got Raisin Bran. Later in the day when I reached into my purse for my wallet I pulled out a fake apple and a bunch of other misc. stuff (see picture). The funniest thing was that Nicole set her alarm for 2:00 a.m. and then woke up Sarah so that they could draw a mustache on Michael while he was sleeping! Michael is usually a VERY deep sleeper but not this time! He couldn't figure out what was going on for a minute but then saw Nicole and knew that she was up to no good! So, the girls woke up in the middle of the night for nothing. Silly girls...they better watch out next year! :)

That's so cute that your kids get into the April Fools Day spirit. I didn't tell my kids it was a holiday on purpose. Less work for me.

I am looking forward to when they are a little older though, I will have to ask Nicole for some tips.

Good for your girls!!! I'm always up for a good clean prank. I was the oldest of five and had a bit of a mischievous side to me, so I can definitely appreciate a good joke! MMM The blue milk was looks pretty tempting!

That is pretty funny. I remember when I was little one of my brothers always put an elastic around the sprayer on the sink. When you turned on the water you would get spayed. I hated that joke, yet I fell for it every year.
