Ciarra's bridal shower

Well, it looks like my intention to blog every other day has turned into more like once a week. So here's the weekly update...This was the last week for Sarah and Isaac to be off track from school. I had such great intentions of doing lots of fun activities while they were out of school, and although we did a few things, there was a lot going on and my good intentions just didn't happen. Oh well, I'll do better next time. I think we are all ready for them to go back to school so we can get a routine back! Sarah has still been going to school every Tuesday morning for choir practice which she is really enjoying! She also started basketball this week on an all girls team and is very excited about learning how to play!

Marty, Michael and I went to Fort Bridger, Wyoming on Thursday to seal over 5,000 sq. feet of tile in a new house that CDR (Marty's company) did the flooring in. The house is on 1,000 acres of land with a river running right next to the house and at least two ponds. It was fun to see the dream home come true for the nice couple who built it! Although I was sore the next day from spending six hours on my hands and knees, we had a good time working together.

My nephew Cory and his adorable fiance, Ciarra, will be getting married after Christmas. We had a bridal shower for Ciarra on Saturday during the huge snow storm and had such a great time! My sister, Teresa, hosted the shower and made everything so nice! We had a brunch with all kinds of delicious food. Because there were so many people, we decided that rather than play games we would have everyone write down a question for Ciarra to answer as she opened their gift. It was a great way for us to get to know her a little better. She will be a perfect addition to the Reschke family! You can see the pictures from the shower by clicking on "view all images" below.
