The Christmas tree

We started decorating the Christmas tree on Monday night but have been too busy to do any other decorations until today. I finally got them all up and the house really feels like Christmas now! Marty and Michael have been having quite a challenge with the Christmas lights on the house! Last year Marty did trade work to have lights customized for our house and put up and taken down. It was SO nice, but the price they wanted to charge us this year, without the trade, was outrageous! Michael and Marty have been working on them for a few nights, trying to figure out what goes where etc. They got half of the house done tonight in the rain. Depending on the weather, we may just have half a house of lights this year!












Tuesday night was Nicole's Christmas piano recital. It was a nice surprise when Grandma and Grandpa showed up just before it started! Nicole has an amazing teacher and definitely has a natural talent for the piano! I love having a piano player in the family!
